Brooklyn. It’s my second home and I absolutely love this place. It’s a great place to visit if you’re visiting NYC. Most neglect to visit Brooklyn as they just stick in the Manhattan borough but trust me, it’s worth it.
First on the list is to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Start over from the Manhattan side so you can finish off in Brooklyn and explore.
Then you need to go the Brooklyn Promenade where you can get the most stunning view of the city by the water’s edge.
Don’t also forget to pop into Jane’s Carousel. It doesn’t matter if you don’t go for a ride, it’s just to explore the place and take in the views.
Next, walk over to DUMBO – Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. You need to do it for the view and the iconic photo. Go to Washington Street to get the killer pic.
And whilst you’re in the area, go to the Brooklyn Coffee Roasting Company. It’s a spacious café with great coffee and pastries where one needs to refuel after all that walking around.
There, you just ticked off about 5 things from the To Do List in Brooklyn. These places are in such a close vicinity of one another that you can do all of them in just over 2 hours with no rushing at all – just relaxing.
